Mr. Courtney Didn’t Get A New Dog

On September 11, 2025 students were walking to MTM when suddenly a visitor arrived on four legs. This little friend was a pug named Pig. Rumor has it that Pig the Pug lives in a house next to the school.

“Who brought this to school?” Said Mr. Courtney

“You leave this precious puppy alone, you old guy,” said Mia.

“Hey, I’m old, but I like puppies too,” Said Mr. Courtney. “What are you all doing with this puppy?”

Reyna came to help, and her friend Anika came too.

Mia said, “Mr. Courtney, aren’t you supposed to be out of school today? Ms. Labas asked us to put the dog in Room 105.”

“Okay,” said Mr. Courtney, “ But if nobody claims this dog, I plan on adopting him. I’m going to call him Shredder, and I’m going to take him on my motorcycle to the ice cream store.”

Mia had an idea to take the dog home. Sometime after that, the office located the owner. Sorry Mr. Courtney, Pig the Pug is back home.

The Dog That Ms. Labas Saved from an Avalanche

On September 11, 2025 students were walking to MTM when they saw something strange walking with them. It was a pug called Pig.

Now, no one has ever seen a pug on campus before. So the three girls went to the office and then showed the principal, Ms. Labas, the pug.

The first thing the principal said was “Where did y’all get the pug from?”

The girls said, “We found the pug when we were walking to school.”

The principal, Ms. Labas, got up and looked out her window. She cried in fear. “Oh no! That’s my dog, his name is Cuddle Bear!”

“You have a dog?” Cried the girls. “Cuddle Bear?”

“Yes,” said Ms. Labas. “I sure do. And he is my precious precious baby. I saved him once from an avalanche of dog treats in a Petsmart.”

“Precious baby?” Thought the girls. My goodness. One of them asked, “What do you mean an avalanche?”

“It’s a long story, but basically, he nearly got suffocated when 19 boxes of Jerky Treats fell over. I had to rescue him. Now he is very near and dear to my heart.”

So the girls, knowing how important this was, went out and saved the dog. Ms. Labas was so grateful she bought all of them Chipotle.

Even for the Cuddle Bear, who chose a Chipotle bowl.

Mr. Fisher And The Pug

As you know, there was a pug on campus a week ago. Well, did you know what happened when a student took it to Mr. Fisher’s classroom? (With permission, of course.) With the help of students and Mr. Fisher, we were able to gather information on the encounter.

“It was really crazy.” Stated Mr. Fisher when we asked him about it. Based on what we gathered, this is how it went:

A student brought him [the dog] in the classroom with permission from Ms. Labas and Mr. Fisher.

Mr. Fisher was writing an example of ratios for notes, “Let’s say there’s 6 dollars for every 7 pieces of candy.”

Suddenly, he saw the dog and was distracted.

A student spoke up at that exact moment and said “Six Seven!” And they even did the hand gesture. That same student had a piece of candy they took at the beginning of class in their hand.

The student, making the gesture, dropped the candy on the floor by accident. The dog, not so far from where the student was sitting, ran and ate the piece of candy before anyone could stop it.

“Get that dog out!” Yelled Mr. Fisher while laughing.

But he never saw the candy again.

The moral of the story is: Six seven!!!!!!!

Losers, Weepers, Puggers, Keepers

On September 11, 2025, students discovered a puppy named Pig the Pug outside the courtyard of the school, MTM.

A young girl named Isabella Orozco found it first, grabbing it immediately and hugging it. Alizee Gonzalez-Parga then walked over and saw Isabella holding the pug.

“Oh my god! Is that a pug, Bro?” Alizee said. Then, she  snatched the pug out of Isabella’s hands.

“Hey! I was holding him first!” Isabella yelled.

“I found him first, I should get to keep him!” Isabella implied.

“No, finders keepers, losers weepers!” Alizee shot back. Their voices grew louder, attracting the attention of Leia Carr.

“Hey! Why are you guys being so loud? ” Leia Carr said.

“She stole MY dog,” Isabella complained.

“It’s not your dog. I don’t see your name on it.” Alizee retorted.

(Imagine a name on a dog!)

Leia, trying to keep the peace, suggested, “What if you guys just play rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to keep it?”

“No!” Alizee refused, clutching Pig tightly.

Suddenly, Mr. Courtney appeared, looking exasperated. “I’m tired of hearing y’all arguing, Bro!” He declared. “If you girls can’t figure this out on your own, then he’s going to be mine.” (He then cackled very oddly and no one knew why)

Meanwhile, the little pug squirmed in Alizee’s arms. His tiny curly tail wagging frantically. The little pug sneezed, making Isabella giggle for a moment despite her annoyance.

“Mr. Courtney, please!” Isabella pleaded, her eyes wide. “We can’t let you take him. He’s too cute for old people!”

Mr. Courtney crossed his arms, pretending to think. “Well, rules are rules. If you can’t share, nobody gets him.”

And to this day, Pig the Pug lives in the Earthlab in a den he dug behind Mother Oak.

Pig The Stray

On September 11, 2025 students were walking to MTM when suddenly a visitor arrived on four legs.

This little friend was a pug named Pig. Rumor has it that Pig the Pug lives in a house near the school.

People kept saying “Ew don’t touch that dog!”

Some people said “It could have rabies?”

But this one seventh-grade girl named Mia didn’t care about what other people thought! All she cared about was getting that pug home!

Mia was too obsessed with getting that poor stray home, even though there were many things Mia didn’t know about that pug.

But one thing Mia didn’t know was that Pig was a stray and didn’t have an owner. Mia tried to leave the school to get Pig home but couldn’t leave or else she would have got in big trouble on probably wind up on the “LOP” list.

Therefore, Mia didn’t have a choice but to walk all the way back with the pug and she had an idea to walk to the office.

She asked the principal.

“Have you seen the pug?” When she entered the school.

The principal had actually seen the pug more than once and said, “Mia you could take that pug and try to find its home, you have all the school hours to find its home.”

Mia was happy that she was able to skip school and go on a fun adventure to find this pug a home.

Nevertheless, once Mia walked out the school she realized that she didn’t have anywhere to start. Mia knew that the pug had to live near the school because a pug that small could not walk that far.

Mia started checking around the school neighborhood knocking on each door she saw. Sadly Pig the pug had no owner, but Mia didn’t give up there. Mia started going to the Gompers park to ask people if they were missing a dog, but some said,

“No that’s not my dog,sorry.”

Also some even said “Ew sorry no but why would that be my dog?”

One person even said “Don’t touch that nasty pug, it could have rabies!” But Mia didn’t stop there!

Instead, she just shook her head and walked away with the pug in her hand, disappointed that she couldn’t find Pig family.

Suddenly, Mia had an idea. Mia thought that if she could dress Pig like an old man but also cool like a motorcycle’s dog that Mr. Courtney would love a dog version of him! Mia went straight to the mall to Build a Bear and she found a pug-sized motorcycle outfit.

When Mr. Courtney saw Pig all dressed up he adopted Pig immediately. Together, they now roam the streets of San Diego on the weekends in Mr. C’s motorcycle!
