You thought you live in the best place? Well let me introduce you to San Diego! San Diego is popular and has many good qualities which makes it popular from all around the world! You seriously don’t believe that? Well, let me tell you all about San Diego and how great it is.

Why Is San Diego Famous? 

Why is San DIego even famous? It’s just a small city in California, so why and how come it’s so special? To begin with, San Diego is known for Rich History and Vibrant Cultures and much more! For example, there are many attractions and theme Parks like Sea world, which fun fact is nearly 200 acres. Along with San Diego’s marvelous weather and sunny skies, it makes theme parks very popular. Who would want to go to a boring theme park in a gloomy town when you have San Diego and their sunny skies! The weather isn’t as hot as people guess, and as someone who lives in San Diego the weather is average! In addition, they are known for their best zoos and animal parks. San Diego houses over 12,000 animals, more than 680 species and subspecies. It is the most visited zoo in the United States and travelers have cited it as one of the best zoos in the world. Can you imagine going to a zoo that travelers like yourself have ranked one of the best zoos in the world? Most importantly, San Diego is popular for their big culture! It’s influenced heavily by American and Mexican culture, due to its position as a border town and its history. 

Their Beaches!

Now, time to get into why San Diego is really popular. Their Beaches! San Diego has 31 beaches! Their beaches are best for beach bonfires and families` to hang out at. 70 miles of the glorious coastline is the signature attraction. The ocean breeze and waves are great, especially during the Summer Time, which is the best time to go there. Be careful, because Summer is crowded with loads of people! Especially at the beach because of how many people get hot. Don’t like crowds? Wanna know the craziest part? You could swim at night! Don’t be worried if you think it’s strange, because you would be surprised how normal it really is. You could do a bonfire, walk around, and take a swim in the cold water under the stars. 

Facts:

 Did you know Balboa Park is bigger than New York City’s Central Park? Balboa Park also hosts the Old Globe Theatre. It’s home to the iconic 1910 construction of the Herschell-Spillman carousel. Just north of downtown (which is a mini version of New York)the park is the country’s largest urban cultural and peaceful space!

Please tell me you’ve heard of Dr.Seuss. Have you? Get this, San Diego was home for Dr.Seuss!

Comic con! Ever heard of it? San Diego has its iconic Legoland and comic-Cons which is a haven for all comic nerds. Fun fact, the festival of Comic Con was organised in 1970, only hundred people attended the event but it has expanded its fan base by getting more than 100,000 attendees every year since then.

And lastly, did you know that San Diego is the home for farms? San Diego nourishes 7,000 farms and remains the largest producer in avocados in the Us! The city holds the record for having the greatest number of farms in the country. Visit the place to have the best and wholesome guacamole!

Our little reading tour has come to an end, so let me break down everything and why you should visit. Here we have beautiful skies and beaches, nice homes and parks, and a lot of cool history!
